Gift

How can I fulfill my life’s mission?
Striving for spiritual gifts
God motivates us: “This, then, should be your goal: a life governed by love. But also strive for the abilities that are given to us by God’s Spirit, and when I say that, I’m thinking especially of the gift of prophetic speaking.” 1 Corinthians 14.1
What are spiritual gifts?
The Bible speaks of nine spiritual gifts: Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing the sick, performing miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpreting languages. These gifts come from the Holy Spirit; they serve to edify and encourage Christians.
A new spirit in us
Man is made up of spirit, soul and body. When we give our lives to Jesus, we receive a new spirit. This is connected with God. Through the new spirit we understand the truth of the Bible and the messages of Jesus. Through this new spirit, we can receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
How do I gain access to the Bible?
Jesus says, “It is the Spirit who makes alive; the flesh is not able. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” John 6.63
Only he who has given his life to Jesus has access to the spiritual world of the living God. Through the Spirit, he can understand the Bible. A non-believer reads the Bible but does not fully understand it. For him it is illogical, a stupidity. This is exactly what I, Robert Buhler, have experienced myself – see my being a Christian. Every person who believes in Jesus can have a deep love relationship and fellowship with God and Jesus. Because Jesus replaces the old spirit, which wants to live without God, with the new spirit.
The new man – a changed life
Man receives a completely exchanged life. This is visible in the fruits of the Holy Spirit, which everyone has at his disposal as soon as he is born again, i.e. his old spirit is dead and the new spirit is born in him. God has a mission, a task for every Christian. Man cannot fulfill this without God’s help. Thanks to the equipment – the supernatural gifts of the spirit – man can do everything that God asks him to do. The concept in the book “Spirit, Soul, Body” is an important prerequisite to learn about this subject in depth. Read the suggested articles on the right.

Spiritual coaching/holidays

Why are there Christian holidays? Why are there Christian holidays?

Jesus says, “For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” Luke 22.16

Let us celebrate
Here Jesus is talking about the Jewish Passover. The next day Jesus was killed on the cross. He took this cruel death upon himself out of love for us people and gave those who believe in him thereby every reason to celebrate a huge feast – and always new feasts. This is, after all, the Gospel of Jesus, the Good News.

Gifts at Christmas, bunnies at Easter
Since then, Christians have celebrated this event on Easter. Before I became a Christian, I didn’t really know the meaning of each holiday. At Christmas there are gifts, at Easter the bunny and at Pentecost a long weekend to relax – that’s it.

Since I’ve been a Christian, I’ve been consciously celebrating these holidays. I always like to examine the events and the messages behind them.

Every holiday has its meaning
Every holiday has an enormous dimension for all people. The almighty God has done great miracles.

Christmas – the Son of God becomes a simple man on earth.
Easter – death and resurrection of Jesus.
Pentecost – outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus.
I am convinced that we also experience great miracles today and also in the future, because God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Saved

Jesus says, “The strong have no need of a physician, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2.17

Jesus is there for sinners. You find him when you realize that you cannot solve your problem by yourself and when you seek hope and inner healing.

I also searched for solutions for a long time. I tried many things. Questions about the meaning of life burned inside me. I had to either ignore them or find real answers to find peace (see My Christianity).

The Meaning of Life
Everyone comes to a point where they ask themselves the same questions of meaning: “Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where will I be one day? Surely there must be something else?”

Over time, these questions can become quieter and quieter, buried by the noise of this world.

Every person knows that God exists
Deep inside, everyone knows that there is a living God. We have become masters of ignoring and denying this truth.

Jesus answered all these questions for us and prepared a way for us to believe. He revealed God to us because he himself became man out of love. Jesus brought us Christianity, his gospel of salvation, which holds the solution to all problems.

The Gospel sounds too good to be true? It is true. Jesus brought us the good news – visible and invisible.

Visible signs of the Gospel
The gathering of Christians, baptism, and the living out of the renewed man with good deeds are visible signs.

Some of the visible areas have disappeared from certain circles in Christianity or are boycotted by Christians themselves. For example, healing by praying, speaking in tongues, prosperity, all kinds of miracles and persecution.

Invisible signs of the gospel
Invisible signs are inner healing and peace through forgiveness of our guilt. And the knowledge of eternal life with God. There are other signs as well. Many Christians do not look for them or do not know them. These would be a deep love relationship with Jesus Christ, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and a life in the Holy Spirit.

Health

Do we have to accept or even embrace illness?
The Bible says, “Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. He who forgives all your sin, he who heals all your diseases.” Psalm 103.2

Jesus heals all diseases
So Jesus doesn’t just forgive all our sins, but He also heals all our diseases. This does not mean that we never have to deal with an illness or disability. The same things happen to us Christians as happen to other people. But we can learn to deal with them in a completely different way.
Dealing with illnesses
We no longer have to accept illnesses ‘as God-given’. The moment we give our lives to Jesus, we enter into the gospel of Jesus. We are no longer subject to the ten commandments and their consequences if we have done something wrong. For we turn back and experience forgiveness.
Jesus took all sickness upon himself
The New Testament says: “Christ ransomed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who hangs on the wood!” Gal. 3:13. In the Old Testament it was the law to hang a murderer on the wood. This person was cursed by God and had to be buried on the same day. Jesus died on the cross for us. He allowed Himself to be cursed for us – and took all our sins and sicknesses upon Himself. I believe in this. I can promise or teach this healing to anyone else in Jesus’ name.

Life

A life with Jesus – what does it bring?
Jesus says: “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14.6. That is radical. Now you are either outraged, look away, or are glad for this uncompromising message. In either case, you need to come to grips with Jesus and his message. No matter where we come from or what we have done, through faith in Jesus we are saved. We receive eternal life. Many people know this promise, but few take the chance. Without Jesus, we cannot have eternal life with God. Because only faith in Jesus makes us righteous in God’s eyes.
Faith in Jesus
God created man to live with Him forever. He loves us, more than we can imagine. God does not want us to die. Jesus says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.” John 3.16
I believe in Jesus
What is stopping you from taking hold of this life and enjoying it eternally? What can I lose, respectively what can I gain? I, Robert Bühler, know: everything. I lived without Jesus for 35 years and then finally took hold of it. Now I can joyfully say: never again back. Now to the most important question and decision of life: Do you want to give your life to Jesus? Have you recently given your life to Jesus? We recommend you the book: “The New You & the Holy Spirit”. It will help you to understand what you have decided and what is still to come. Supply

God wants to give us everything – even wealth
The Bible says, “You know by what the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord was shown: He who was rich became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8.9)

Trust God more than your own possessions
Who has heard of the so-called prosperity gospel? Churches and communities argue about it. Jesus does not condemn wealth per se, but the love of money. Whoever trusts God less than in his wealth is doing idolatry. This is an abomination to God.

For many, the poverty gospel of the nuns, monks, Mother Teresa or Francis of Assisi is a familiar one. For centuries, the Gospel of Poverty has been preached to us. Often the following saying of Jesus is quoted: “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Be rich in order to give to others
For those who put God first, what is written in Matthew 6.33 applies: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And all these things will be added to you.” Jesus not only took away all our sins, healed all our diseases. He also wants us to have everything to live a life of godliness and all the necessary means for His kingdom to be built .

He wants us to be rich to give to others. Jesus, the Son of God, said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” Acts 20.35. This is exactly the foundation on which God’s economic system is built. Joyful givers are those who can experience tremendous blessings from God. They pass on the blessing, to the poor or for the spread of the gospel.

I see the goodness of God in this in a special way with a very practical effect. He gave us everything when he gave us his Son, even wealth. That was without any special conditions or fine print.
