Saved Saved

Jesus says, “They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Mark 2:17

Jesus is there for the sinners. You will find him when you recognize that you cannot solve your problem yourself and when you seek hope and inner healing.

I too sought long and hard for solutions. Tried out many things. Questions about the meaning of life burned in me. I either had to ignore them or find genuine answers in order to find peace (see My becoming a Christian).

The meaning of life

Every person comes to a point in his or her life where he or she asks the same questions relating to meaning:
“Why am I here? Where do I come from? Where will I one day be? Surely there is something else?”

With time these questions can become softer and softer, covered up by the noise of this world.

Every person knows that God exists. Deep inside everyone knows that there is a living God. We have become masters at ignoring and negating this truth.

Jesus has answered all these questions and prepared a path to faith for us.
He revealed God to us because he himself became man out of love.

Jesus brought us Christianity, his Gospel of Salvation that holds ready the solution to all problems.

The Gospel sounds too good to be true? It is true. Jesus brought us the good news – visible and invisible.

Visible signs of the Gospel

The gathering of Christians, baptism and the modelling of a renewed person with good deeds are visible signs.

Some of the visible areas have disappeared from certain circles of Christianity or are being boycotted by Christians themselves.

For example, healing through prayer, speaking in tongues, prosperity, all types of miracles and persecution.

Invisible signs of the Gospel

Invisible signs are inner healing and peace through the forgiveness of our trespasses.

And the knowledge of eternal life with God. There are also other signs. Many

Christians do not seek them out or do not know them. They are a deep loving relationship with Jesus Christ, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and a life in the Holy Spirit.

A transformed life with Jesus

Do you expect more from a life with Jesus? Would you like to be more like Jesus Christ?
